Dear Church Family,

The elders have called for a 24-hour prayer vigil, once again, to call out to the Lord in a period of prayer. Many of you have participated in these in the past. We know you and the whole church have been blessed.

35-minute prayer slots will begin at 7 AM Wednesday, September 22 through 7:05 AM on Thursday, September 23. You can pray in your home or wherever you happen to be. We will pray for the spiritual, intellectual, physical and emotional health of our children, parents, teachers, Sunday School teachers and youth workers as they head into the academic year. May all of us grow in love for God and a desire for His glory and may every person in our church increase in our sense of God's love for us, and respond by turning away from sin and walking in love and holiness. We will send you a guide to lead you through your prayer time.

Once you sign up for a slot, you will receive a "Participant's Guide" to help you during your 35 minutes of prayer. Page 2 explains the vigil. Page 4 lays out a suggested guide for spending 35 minutes in prayer for your personal blessing and your intercession on behalf of the church. Page 3 gives helpful suggestions to focus your "petitions and supplications" for missions in 2021.

God's word says "and pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert, and always keep on praying for all the saints."

Thank you for your participation in this very important ministry.

Warmly In Christ, Pastor John Yenchko
